A simple intro...

Music is a land of wonders, with the elegance immersing us into tremendous peace. To be in that field is like having every piece of happiness all to ourselves. Be it the sheer pleasure of listening to some good voice or an instrument, nothing is more resplendent. Or if there is something more, it is our ability to sense what is being played before us and understand it to the core.
We never know what is about to happen the next moment; what incredibly stupid or crazily intelligent idea is going to come out of our head. Believe me, the idea of writing this blog is a result of a very simple suggestion from a colleague-cum-friend, and I thought "Yeah, why not!".  Why shan’t I help others understand the notes that were easily juggled by great composers bringing in a new meaning for the beautiful words, and let them understand a bit more of the treasure that is hidden underneath?  It could make a small but good change to our perspective, eh?
Here I am trying my best to bring the musical notations of various Malayalam songs to front, following the traditional Carnatic style. I hope you find it useful.

NB: Your opinions and suggestions are the only tools for me to develop the blog and get the right content before you. So, please don’t hesitate to present your views and also the songs that you would like to see notated. Cheers!!!
